The event was held in the format of a 12-hour cruise via the majestic lake of legends - Lake Baikal. To have a comfortable and safe journey, the participants were provided with a 2-floors high-speed passenger vessel Barguzin-3.
The program on the ship traditionally began with the business part. This year, the main topic was about the deficit and surplus of the container equipment in Russia. The participants were offered analytical data on the container transportation market for 2017-2019 (volumes, supply and demand ratio), and discussed tools, including IT services, used by participants to solve the issue of shortage-surplus of containers.
In addition, the participants jointly, using the examples and personal experience, assessed the advantages of the Association for solving topical issues of the industry and interaction with government agencies, and also outlined how to further develop the project of the "Unified Meeting of Forwarders" and the format of future meetings.
In the process of active discussions, we sailed into the bay "Peschanka", one of the most picturesque places of Lake Baikal, to the territory of "Baikal Dunes".
